CUPE launching campaign against planned cuts at HPHA hospitals

A campaign to protest planned cuts at area hospitals kicks off in Stratford today.

Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance hospital staff, represented by CUPE, are holding a media conference at 4:00 p.m. at 151 Lorne Avenue East.

They’ll launch their postcard campaign, aimed at the Minister of Health Eric Hoskins, and ask for additional funding for the Alliance.

The HPHA is considering the closure of 17 beds across its four hospitals.
