The Food Act is going ahead.
Ontario Agriculture Minister Jeff Leal made the announcement yesterday.
His statements came in response to Conservative questions about the recent budget.
Leal says the Food Act’s initiatives are contained in the budget and they will be moving forward on them.
However, Leal admits the tax credit for farmers who donate produce to food banks has been delayed.
