Perth South gets funding boost from Farm Credit Canada

Perth South is getting a funding boost to the tune of $14-thousand.
It comes after the township was among 94 recipients from across Canada to benefit from a grant program offered by Farm Credit Canada.

Officials say the money received from the FCC AgriSpirit Fund will be used towards the purchase of new doors and increased insulation in the attic at the Downie Optimist Community Centre in St. Pauls.

They say the upgrades will improve the energy efficiency at the facility.
