Investigation underway after vehicle drives into front of the Hensall Community Centre

An investigation is underway after a vehicle smashed into the front of the Hensall Community Centre.

On Facebook, the Municipality of Bluewater says it happened early Saturday morning and it caused a large amount of damage.

Those responsible also tried to steal an ATM from the centre, according to the post.

Officials say a temporary door and wall has now been installed and ice time in Hensall has been restored.

If you have information on what happened then you’re asked to call Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Updates on the condition of the centre will be given as they become available, according to the municipality.
