One person escapes vehicle fire in Stratford

One person was fortunate to escape just before their vehicle erupted into flames in Stratford.

Stratford Fire Chief John Paradis tells MyStratfordNow.com that a call came in around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon about a vehicle on fire at the intersection of Erie Street and West Gore Street.

When crews arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle that was fully engulfed in flames.

The fire was promptly extinguished and the single person in the vehicle wasn’t injured.

Paradis says the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
