Green Arc gives update on delays

Green Arc Tire has provided an update on the delay in getting its doors opened.

The St. Marys-based company says they’re still waiting for the Ministry of the Environment’s approval.

Company spokesperson Danna O’Brien says it’s simply a matter of process:

She adds a recent meeting went well:

O’Brien added that CEO Mike DiCenzo’s unpaid fine from when he ran another tire company is being addressed and isn’t expected to affect Green Arc’s application.

The plant is now expected to open sometime this fall.
