Man arrested after fleeing from police outside Stratford

Police say a man has been arrested and is being treated in hospital after an incident north of Stratford.
A joint investigation between Perth County OPP and Stratford Police revealed a vehicle fled from officers Friday morning in the area of Line 39 and Road 125.
Police say the vehicle was abandoned nearby and a police K9 was brought in to help track down the man.
They say he was the only person in the vehicle and he’s being held for a bail hearing after he gets out of the hospital.
More details on what happened are expected to be released as they become available.
