Stratford’s park system set to open to commercial activity

Stratford’s park system is set to be open to commercial activity for the first time in its almost 120 year history.

The green light has been given for Stratford’s Economic Response and Recovery Task Force to paint 25 circles, each 8 feet in diameter and spaced 16 feet apart, near the corner of Lakeside Drive and Front Street.

The spaces will be available as of Thursday and are open to things like concerts and fundraisers and they follow guidelines for public safety.

The sale of commercial goods in the park space is prohibited.
