Two people, including a Stratford resident, face charges after police say they were found with cannabis and open liquor in their vehicle.
Shortly before 9:00 o’clock Saturday night, a Perth County OPP officer on patrol said they stopped a vehicle after it was observed to be speeding on Perth Line 55, in the Township of Perth East.
While speaking with the diver, the investigation revealed that the driver had a quantity of cannabis readily available.
The driver, a 43-year-old Stratford resident, was charged with Speeding and having cannabis readily available.
A 20-year-old passenger was also charged with having liquor in an open container.
