Perth South is the first area in Huron Perth to terminate its State of Emergency over COVID-19.
In a press release, Perth South officials say the declaration expired today (Friday) after coming into effect on March 25th.
They say the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Perth South remains very low, which is one of “many” contributing factors in the decision to end the declaration.
Ontario has extended its province-wide emergency orders until July 29th.
