The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office has been called in to investigate a structure fire near Mitchell.
Firefighters were called out around 1 o’clock Friday morning to the structure on Highway 23 between Lines 28 and 32 in Brandy Point.
Fire Prevention Officer James Marshall says there were flames coming out out a couple of the windows in the structure when crews arrived and the blaze was quickly put out.
He says the cause of the fire is being investigated.
“The damage estimate is something that would need to be looked at by structural engineers, everything that’s inside has been lost or affected by fire.”
No one was injured in the fire.
