A 43-year-old Stratford woman faces drug charges after police say they found her sleeping in her vehicle.
Around 12:45 Wednesday morning, Huron County OPP say they received information about a suspected impaired driver travelling eastbound towards Seaforth.
Officers began searching for the vehicle and they say they found it about 15 minutes later in the parking lot of a Seaforth gas station..
Police say the woman was found sleeping in the driver’s seat and once she woke up, officers say she showed signs she was impaired by a drug.
She was arrested for Impaired Operation and was transported to the Clinton OPP Detachment for a Drug Recognition Evaluation.
The tests confirmed she was impaired by a drug and officers say they found suspected meth, codeine and drug trafficking materials in the vehicle.
She faces several charges including possessing drugs and impaired Operation.
