St.Marys Lion’s Club stepping up to help fire department

The St.Marys Lion’s Club is stepping up to help the town’s fire department.

The club has donated $7,500 to the St.Marys Fire Department which will go to new equipment and adding a Wall of Fame to the new fire hall.

Officials say the equipment being purchased wasn’t part of the new fire hall’s contingency plan.

Special plaques have also been ordered to create the Wall of Fame.
