Upper Thames River Conservation Authority launching two new community science projects

Two new community science projects are trying to get local residents involved.

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority says it’s working with watershed property owners to pilot a new Community Precipitation Monitoring Project and a Community Nature Project.

The CPMP will see participants measure and record daily precipitation using an online platform while the CNP will see those taking part making observations about the animals and plants they see in the watershed.
