The Local Community Food Centre will host the ‘Comfort & JOY’ Christmas Concert and sing-a-long this weekend.

The second annual fundraiser takes place this Saturday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the food centre on Erie Street in Stratford.

The concert will be led by Stratford singer and recording artist Pam Gerrand, accompanied by Kelly Walker on keyboard and vocals.

The afternoon will feature an old-fashioned carol sing-a-long, cider, cookies, and a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ by local author, artist and master storyteller Teddy Payne.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students while children under 12 are free.

All money raised will benefit The Local Community Food Centre and The Hunger Project Canada.
