You could soon have a shorter wait between your COVID-19 vaccine shots.

Huron Perth Public Health says it’s starting to offer second dose appointments earlier based on vaccine supply.

Starting Monday, people aged 80 and up can book an appointment at a future clinic.

Appointments are currently open for mid to late June and those aged 70 and up will be able to book their second shot the week of June 14th for a future clinic.

You can click here to book.

“There has been excellent uptake of vaccine in Huron Perth and we know that people are eager to receive their second dose,” says Huron Perth Medical Officer of Health Dr. Miriam Klassen, Medical Officer of Health for Huron Perth. “We ask that people waiting to book vaccination appointments please be patient with our staff during this busy time.  We also remind the public that rude or abusive language towards staff will not be tolerated.”
