Police: Clinton man charged after threatening to kill employees at area business

A 73-year-old Clinton man faces charges after police say he threatened to kill employees at an area business.

The Huron County OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, began an investigation into an incident in Central Huron on July 30th.

Police say they learned the accused had made threats towards employees of a nearby business.

The suspect was arrested and charged in Clinton in the early morning on July 31st.

He was charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Counselling to Commit Murder.

The suspect is in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
