A 17-year-old woman has been charged after police say she assaulted an officer.
Stratford Police say they were called around 5 o’clock Saturday morning about a possible impaired driver in the drive through lane at the Tim Horton’s on Queen Street East in St.Marys.
Police say the driver drove over the curb in the drive through and wedged the vehicle against the speaker.
The woman was arrested and brought to police headquarters where police say she became aggressive with a female officer and assaulted her.
Police say the officer wasn’t injured and the woman now faces charges including Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle -Alcohol and Assault Police.
She’s scheduled to appear in court in Stratford in early September.
