A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at a local school.
Huron Perth Public Health data released Thursday afternoon shows an outbreak at Listowel District Secondary School.
It doesn’t say whether the case is in staff or students and MyStratfordNow.com has reached out for more information.
It’s the first outbreak to be declared at a school in the region since the beginning of the academic year.
There were seven new cases reported in the region with four in Perth East and two in North Perth.
The other new case is in Huron County.
There are currently 27 active cases.
