There are 26 new COVID-19 cases and one new death in our region after the weekend.
Updated data from Huron Perth Public Health shows the death toll now at 68.
Officials say the death was that of a community member and it wasn’t connected to any ongoing outbreaks.
Ten of the new cases are in Perth East, five are in North Perth and two are in Stratford with the rest in Huron County.
An outbreak at Milverton Public School remains active as does one at an unnamed workplace.
There are 60 active cases in the area.
