Historic sexual assault case headed back to court in Stratford

A 64-year-old man charged in a historical sexual assault case in Stratford is due in court.
Police say Robert Ritchie was arrested in October and charged with Indecent Assault Male and Sexual Assault.
From 1980 to 1985, Stratford Police allege Ritchie would seclude himself in a private place at the YMCA in the city where he was a lifeguard and he would sexually assault the victim.
Investigators say the abuse began when the victim was seven years old and ended at the age of 11.
The victim came forward to the police in May.
Ritchie is scheduled to appear in court in Stratford on Monday.
