Perth County OPP is reminding drivers they have to follow the rules around school buses.
It comes after a 33-year-old North Perth resident was charged after police say they drove through the overhead red flashing lights and extended stop arm on a school bus.
The bus was stopped loading kids on Tremaine Avenue in Listowel when the incident happened on November 24th.
Police say there have been a number of similar reports throughout Perth County, and they are reminding drivers that every driver must stop for school buses, and driving around or past a stopped bus could have deadly consequences if a child is crossing the roadway.
Drivers are being urged to slow down and pay attention to the road.
