Stratford Police investigate damage to ball field at Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame

Someone who went for a joyride in the ball field behind the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St. Marys has caused a lot of damage. 

Stratford Police Service got the call Monday after staff at the Hall of Fame noticed the damage on Saturday afternoon. 

Police say it looks like a larger pickup truck with heavily treaded tires drove in circles at a high rate of speed creating tires tracks throughout the field.

It’s believed it happened sometime overnight Friday.
