A new free certification program is being offered for those interested in becoming a personal support worker.
The course is being offered through the Avon Maitland District School Board’s Centre for Employment and Learning and involves on-the-job training in a co-operative education format.
The program is available to anyone interested in pursuing a career as a PSW and involves both online and in-person classes.
It runs from February 28th to December 16th and is being offered part-time.
