UPDATE: Three people suffer non-life threatening injuries in collision involving school bus near Shakespeare

Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries after a collision involving a school bus near Shakespeare.

In an update, Perth County OPP say a 16-year-old passenger on the bus was transported to a London hospital by Ornge Air Ambulance after Thursday afternoon’s collision between a bus and a commercial vehicle on Perth Road 107 at Line 45 in Perth East.

A 14-year-old passenger from the bus and the driver were transported to hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the commercial vehicle wasn’t hurt.

The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as they become available.

Police say the road reopened Friday morning but will be closed again Friday afternoon while a vehicle is removed from the scene.

A collision involving a school bus near Shakespeare has sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries.

Perth County OPP tells MyStratfordNow.com it involved a commercial vehicle and a school bus.

It happened just before 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon on Perth Road 107 at Line 45.

One occupant of the school bus was transported to hospital by Ornge Air Ambulance while two other people were transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

Police are not offering any other details at this time.

Roads in the area are closed and drivers are asked to find an alternate route.

First responders are currently on scene of a collision at Line 45 at Road 107.

The road is closed in the area, and drivers will need to use an alternate route.
