The Seaforth Community Hospital’s Emergency Department will continue to see reduced hours for part of the August Civic holiday weekend.
The department will close at 5 Friday afternoon and reopen at 7 Saturday morning but will close at 5 pm Saturday.
On Sunday, it will reopen at 7 in the morning and will resume regular hours of operation.
The extended reduction of hours is because of staffing shortages.
Anyone with a health emergency should call 9-1-1 and paramedics will reroute patients to the nearest available Emergency Department.
