Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor is coming to Stratford to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
Elizabeth Dowdeswell will be in the city on Saturday to mark Queen Elizabeth’s 70-year reign and to take part in a number of different public events.
Among them is a Meighan Forum panel discussion at the Stratford Festival’s Tom Patterson Theatre which will also include former Ontario Premier and Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations Bob Rae, renowned news anchor Lloyd Robertson and Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson.
There will also be a Garden Party in Market Square in the afternoon where Dowdeswell will meet and greet residents.
