Police searching for driver involved in collision in Stratford

Stratford Police are searching for a driver they say was involved in a hit-and-run collision in the city.

Police say it happened in the Walmart parking lot on Ontario Street at around 3:45 p.m. on August 5th.

The suspect vehicle is described as a grey Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, which was being operated by an unknown female.

Video surveillance footage from the store shows the pickup truck was pulling out of a parking space when its passenger side struck the front driver’s side corner of an orange Pontiac Grand Am, which was parked and unoccupied.

The driver of the pickup truck then left the scene.

If you have information on what happened you’re asked to call Stratford Police or Crime Stoppers.
