Local bridge set to be rehabilitated in the spring

Your feedback is wanted on repairs being made to a local bridge.

Dunn’s Bridge, located over the Avon River on O’Loane Avenue, north of Perth Line 32/Lorne Avenue West, is set to go through a rehabilitation project.

Officials with the City of Stratford and the Township of Perth South say the bridge was built in 1968 and a recent inspection showed that repairs need to be made to its deck and girders.

The repair work is expected to begin this spring and will require the bridge to be closed to vehicles and pedestrians for approximately five to six months.

You can click here to go to a virtual open house on the project.

It features more details, including a narrated slide presentation, project updates, and an opportunity to provide comments or ask questions about the proposed work.
