St.Marys residents reminded about rules around fireworks

St.Marys residents are being reminded about the rules around fireworks ahead of the Victoria Day weekend.

Under a town by-law, fireworks can be set off by residents on Victoria Day and for two days before and after but they can only be released between dusk and 11 p.m.

They can only be set off on private property and not in places like a building or park.

Fireworks can be sold and purchased for ten days prior to Monday.
