The City of Stratford has opened a cooling centre as temperatures continue to soar.
It’s located at the Rotary Complex Community Hall and will be open until 9 p.m., Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday.
The space is air-conditioned, washrooms are on site, and water will be available.
The Stratford Public Library and the Anne Hathaway Park splash pad, near the corner of Downie and Bruce Streets, are also open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to cool down.
