A 14-year-old Stratford girl has been charged after police say another female was assaulted.
Stratford Police say they were contacted around 3:30 Monday afternoon by Perth County Paramedics who were transporting a 15-year-old girl to the hospital.
Police say it was determined that the victim had been assaulted at the Stratford Transit Bus Terminal on Downie Street with a video showing the accused striking the 15-year-old several times and stomping on her face.
The victim was left unconscious, according to SPS, with the suspect leaving the scene and later located around 10 p.m. when she was arrested.
The 14-year-old has been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and was held in custody for a bail hearing.
The victim was later released from hospital after receiving treatment for her injuries.
