Fundraiser BBQ organized for Neeb family after Genesis Farm fire

A fundraiser has been organized for the Neeb Family.  A fire at their farm on Line 37 northeast of Stratford last month destroyed their dairy barn and killed half of their milking herd.

The Benefit BBQ is being put on by the Stratford & District Agricultural Society, St. John’s United Church, and the local Scouts clubs.

Alicia Horn from the Ag Society says the BBQ is meant to raise money and spirits:

It’s set for June 20th at 5:00 p.m. at the Stratford Agriplex at 353 McCarthy Road.  Anyone who can’t attend, but would still like to make a donation, can do so at the Ag Society office on the second floor of the Agriplex or by calling 519-271-5130.
