Movies Under the Stars: Parking Lot Edition back for a second summer

Movies Under the Stars: Parking Lot Edition is returning to Stratford for another summer.

This year’s season gets started Friday night in the Grand Trunk Shops Parking Lot on St.Patrick Street with Back to the Future playing on the big screen.

Movies will be played on Friday and Saturday night’s until September with a flat rate for vehicles set at $25.00.

Craig Thompson runs the events and he says they are a great way to enjoy the city’s downtown core.

“The movies don’t start until dusk or dark so you can go down and sit on a patio or get takeout and really enjoy the downtown.”

Thompson adds they will have a greater selection of movies this summer including Dirty Dancing which will be played on Canada Day.
