A Perth County OPP officer is being recognized for his efforts in combating impaired driving.
Constable Mike Garniss, a member of the local detachment for over six years, was recently honored with an Accolade Award presented by the OPP recognizing exceptional achievement.
Garniss was presented with the Impaired Driving Accolade Award for laying 36 impaired driving charges in 2022.
It was the most by an officer in the West Region and second in the province for OPP officers.
