The Seaforth Community Hospital is temporarily adjusting its hours because of a staffing shortage.
The hospital’s emergency department is closing at 5 p.m. today (Tuesday) and will reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance officials say 24-hour service will resume at that point.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 9-1-1 and paramedics will remain available to the community and re-route to the nearest available emergency department.
