PETRONELLA VAN NYNATTEN

Petronella “Nellie” Van Nynatten, 95, of Mitchell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Stratford General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John Van Nynatten. Loving mother of Annie Houben (John), Nellie Maliszewski (Tom), Peter Van Nynatten (Marg), Marguerite Van Drunen (Francis), Cynthia Rowland (Mike), Casey Van Nynatten (Valerie), Christine Coulthard (Mark) and Linda Reyno (Mike). Cherished grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 37. Sister-in-law of Mary Van Nynatten. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and the Goorden and Van Nynatten families in Holland.

Predeceased by her parents Cornelius and Johanna Goorden, daughter-in-law Donna Van Nynatten, and granddaughter Amy Van Nynatten.

Friends will be received at Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday March 8th, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Kinkora on Saturday March 9th, 2024 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Kinkora. A reception will follow at the Kinkora Community Center. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stratford General Hospital or the Stratford Perth Hospice Foundation would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
