We could see some flurries come the Easter long weekend but it shouldn’t impact our plans too much.
That’s according to Environment Canada Senior Climatologist Dave Phillips who says any snow that we currently have on the ground should be gone by Friday because of a mix of rain and warmer temperatures.
He says that means the conditions will be right for Easter egg hunts and traveling to visit family and friends.
He adds that come next week, after the holiday, we could truly see the arrival of spring.
Phillips adds, however, that it’s likely we will still see some snow in April but he doesn’t expect any significant storms.
