The United Way Perth-Huron is stepping up to help everyone complete their taxes.
UWPH staff say access to tax services isn’t equitable and they are holding clinics to help seniors, newcomers, students, and those receiving income from social assistance programs, among others.
You can call or visit 211 to find out about the nearest tax clinic and If you are owed money, you can file taxes anytime.
In 2022 alone, volunteers at free tax clinics in Huron County and Grand Bend filed over 1,000 returns, resulting in $1.7 million in returns and benefits.
