National Day of Mourning being marked in Stratford

Those killed or seriously injured in the workplace are being honored locally.
Sunday is the National Day of Mourning and the Stratford and District Labour Council is holding a ceremony to mark the occasion in Upper Queens Park in Stratford.
It’s scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. and will include guest speakers and music.
Patti-Jo Linder is with the Council and she says safety should always be front of mind.
“A healthy and safe workplace starts with each and every one of us so when we see something, or feel something going wrong, that we stand up and we speak about it and we talk about how to make it good.”
The flag in front of Stratford City Hall has been lowered in recognition of the day.
