PDHU investigating dog bite incident

The Perth District Health Unit is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident.

The PDHU says the incident took place on Boxing Day at about 11:00 a.m. just outside of the Mini-Mart/Go-Co Station at 666 Ontario Street.

The dog is described as small, dark brown or black and was wearing a dark red coat.

The Health Unit wants to know if this dog has had up-to-date rabies shots.

The Perth District Health Unit reminds people to always obtain the contact information of the owner of the animal involved in the biting incident.

Anyone who has any information on this dog should contact the Perth District Health Unit at 519-271-7600 ext 252 or after hours or over the weekend at 1-800-431-2054 ext 252.
