Sean McDade is the new superintendent of education for the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board.
The board said McDade, currently principal at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Goderich, will start his new post in January.
McDade has served as a teacher, learning coordinator, vice principal and principal and served on board committees in Catholic education locally and provincially.
McDade said in a media release he is honoured and excited to step into the role, and looks forward to working collaboratively with home, parish, and school communities to nurture Christ-centered environments, provide student-focused learning opportunities, and support the holistic growth of each child.
