It’s still not 24/7 but the hours of operation at Clinton Public Hospital are increasing.
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) said the emergency room will be open two hours longer, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., effective Jan. 20.
Previously it was 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Andrew Williams, president and CEO of the HPHA, said the organization remains committed to ensuring responsible access to safe and timely care.
For emergencies or serious medical issues, community members are advised to call 911.
