Climate Momentum is sharing a “taste of tomorrow” with its upcoming Climate Conversation.
The event on Jan. 23 will discuss top trends in the future of housing, while using sustainability to address affordability and independence.
Keynote speaker will be Derek Satnik from West5 and S2E Technologies.
Satnik is one of the primary designers of West5, a sustainable community on the edge of London, which features sustainable energy sources as well as EV charging stations and heat pumps.
West5 is the largest smart community development in North America, and it was designed with goals of achieving net zero energy, reducing water consumption, creating electric vehicle-readiness, and using smart grid infrastructure.
He will speak to the future of sustainable energy in housing.
There will also be time for discussion surrounding the topic with other attendees.
The conversation starts at 7 p.m. at the City Hall Auditorium.
