Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth is partnering with a local business for a fundraiser.
Quadro Communications Co-Operative Inc. will match new monthly donor contributions and any increases in existing monthly donations, for a total of up to $25,000, for the month of February.
The matching gift campaign presents an opportunity for community members to double their impact and help ensure compassionate, high-quality care for individuals and loved ones facing end-of-life challenges, according to a news release.
The local hospice provides 24-hour palliative care, 365 days a year, in a home-like setting at no cost.
The Ministry of Health funds half of annual operating costs, the remaining $1 million is funded locally.
This new initiative will aid in providing sustainable funding for hospice care, programming, family and loved one support, as well as community outreach.
