Fatality in Oxford County after sedan/train collision

Oxford OPP are investigating a fatal collision in Tillsonburg.

Officers responded at 12:22 p.m. on Friday (March 14) when a train and a sedan collided on Bayham Drive.

The 56-year-old driver of the sedan, a London resident, was transported to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team is assisting with the investigation and is asking anyone who was travelling on Bayham Drive and witnessed the collision, or who has any relevant information, to contact Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
