Some big city projects are wrapping up, underway or are getting going.
Stratford Mayor Martin Ritsma said the upper portion of the Erie Street parking lot project should be done soon, with the lower part of the lot already completed.
Funding for the project came via parking reserves.
Work is also getting started on the intersection of O’Loane and Huron Street, an extension of the sanitary sewer line from the south, from Dunn’s Bridge that will connect the intersection and eventually connect to Quinlan Road.
That project comes in at $2.9 million.
Phase 2 of the Albert Street reconstruction project, from Front Street to King Street, and reconstruction of Avon Street and Avondale Avenue, which include infrastructure improvements, are happening this summer.
The city has a $38 million capital budget this year.
