Mary Jane Blowes, age 68 of St. Pauls, passed away suddenly on January 13, 2014. She was born in Stratford, daughter of the late George and Shirley (Box) Wood and has lived here all her life. Jane was a partner with her husband Barry (Sam) Blowes and her son Rob Blowes at Blowes Travel and Cruise Centres Inc for over 40 years. She was a past member of the Stratford Kinette Club, coached baseball at the Downie Optimist Park and was a huge racing fan. Jane was Ontario Travel Agent of the year in the past. Beloved wife of Barry (Sam) Blowes whom she married February 5, 1965 at Avonton Presbyterian Church. Loving mother of Rob Blowes (Heather), Doug Blowes. She will be missed by her dear grandchildren Nicole, Jackson, Halle, Alexa and Ava. Sister of Bob Wood (Leslie) and dear Aunt of Erin and Jill Wood. Sister in law of Bob Blowes (Margaret) and Pat Mah (Dick). Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother William Wood and a brother in law Ted Blowes. Friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of Jane’s life at Central United Church, 194 Avondale Avenue, Stratford on Saturday, January 18 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in Forster Hall. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of ones choice and may be made through the W. G.
