Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae has announced $13.3 million in funding as part of the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund, which provides funding for communities with populations under 100,000.
Rae said rural communities are getting shovels in the ground on important infrastructure projects.
The 11 municipalities include Stratford, St. Marys, Perth County, West Perth, North Perth, Perth East and South.
Stratford will receive most of the funding at $3.2 million, with Perth East receiving the least with $373,247.
St. Marys is getting $502,284, $537,802 for Perth County, $434,389 for Perth South, $1.12 million for North Perth, and $1.24 million for West Perth.
