United Way Perth-Huron provides update on fundraising campaign

So far, so good for United Way Perth-Huron’s 2025-26 fundraising campaign.

Director of Resource Development and Communications Susan Faber said they have so far raised $737,000 towards a $2.53 million goal to support those struggling with multiple challenges including income, housing, and mental health.

The United Way are holding a Lucky Local 50/50 draw with proceeds helping 30 local programs and services. Tickets can be purchased until Oct. 31.

Faber said they’re also hosting the Ultimate Burger Raffle during the month of November, with participating restaurants offering a signature burger.

“We encourage community members to try out as many burgers as they can,” said Faber.

$2 from every purchase goes to the United Way.

Participating restaurants include Mercer’s Kitchen, Foster’s Inn, Gilly’s, Stratford Country Club, and the Best Western Plus The Arden Park Hotel.
